Located on a prestigious two-acre parcel just a short block from the main gate of Princeton University, our redevelopment in historic downtown Princeton, NJ was selected through a public RFQ/RFP process by the Borough in 2002.

Our team worked closely with municipal officials to design an overall redevelopment plan for the site with a total project cost in excess of $25 million. The project scope includes construction of a new 500-car public parking garage, a new 15,000 square foot public plaza, two private mixed-use buildings containing 77 units of rental housing (with 12 affordable units and 65 market rate units), and approximately 15,000 square feet of ground floor retail. A new 58,000 square foot Princeton Public Library was also a key part of the site redevelopment. The two highly-finished mixed-use buildings are designed to screen the garage, as well as provide a new vitality and architectural richness to the downtown Princeton streetscape.

The Princeton Downtown Redevelopment Project won the coveted "Smart Growth" award for excellence in design and planning in 2005 as judged by New Jersey Future.
